Meet the Team

Alongside Kalie, Kalie Beckers Dressage would not be what it is without the many people who contribute
their time and expertise to the care and quality of the horses and happiness of the students and clients.

Carlie Felps

Assistant Trainer

Carlie has been on the back of a horse since she can remember. She grew up in the Hunter/Jumper world for thirteen years where her love for riding and training started to blossom.

In 2020 Carlie began training under Kalie Beckers diving into the Dressage and Eventing world. At the beginning of 2021 she began working for Kalie. She has years of experience in teaching all levels of riders. Carlie has assisted in starting young horses, producing sales horses, and keeping competition horses show ready.

Carlie has earned her USDF Bronze medal. She also has qualified for Region 9 Championships over the years. In addition to that she has also shown through Novice eventing.

Annette Lay

Marketing & Digital Content Manager

Annette is an equine photographer and marketing consultant with Mane Marketing & Design. She holds a BA in Communication and has completed an internship with the Disney Company. After a 15 year break from riding, she started to train with Kalie in the summer of 2020. There she developed a love for dressage and learned about a whole new world. She enjoys spending time with the many horses at Kalie Beckers Dressage when she’s not stuck behind a computer screen. When she is not working on one of her many projects, you will often find her with a cup of coffee in hand, a good book, and music playing through her phone.

Gumbeaux
